Jim Harbin Media Festival

Jim Harbin Student Media Festival
Attention All Movie Making Pirates!

The Jim Harbin Student Media Festival is a movie making competition for students in K-12th grade sponsored by The Florida Association of Media Specialists. The first level of competition is held at our school. The second level is in our county and the final level is statewide. We will be holding Jim Harbin Media Festival meetings in the PES Media Center each Tuesday from 3PM to 4PM until the March deadline. Our first session is Tuesday, February, 3, 2015 to discuss rules, deadlines, and categories for the movie making competition.

Each additional session is designed to facilitate students as they make a movie to enter into the Jim Harbin competition.  Students must do the project on their own with minimal adult help. The deadline for entries is March 12, 2015. In March we may meet other times in order to meet the final deadline.

If your student is interested in joining these sessions or wants to make a movie on their own to enter into the competition, please complete the form attached below.
